SHINHAN SECURITIES FIELD TRIP TO VIETNAM!

We are delighted to share our experience of hosting a Finance Fieldtrip for Shinhan Securities, one of the leading financial groups in Korea. The program was held for ~50 promoted managers, divided into 2 times in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam:
· 1st time: September 13 to 15, 2023, 4 days 3 nights
· 2nd time: September 20 to 23, 2023, 4 days 3 nights
The program aimed to provide an opportunity for Shinhan Securities Korea’ employees to learn more about the Vietnamese finance market and search for investment opportunities in Vietnam, as well as to foster mutual understanding and cooperation between Shinhan Securities and other stakeholders.
The program consisted of various sessions for each group, including:
– A Lecture about HCMC’s Economic Status & Trends at KOTRA (The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency)
– A Meet-up with Shinhan HCMC Director to learn about Shinhan Securities Vietnam Business
– A site visit to Shinhan Securities Vietnam, where the participants observed the Vietnam center’s daily operations.
– A Seminar of Current status and Major Issues of Investment in Vietnam conducted by Mr. Gil Young Min – Leader of Shin & Kim VN.
– A Visit to State Securities Commission of Vietnam – HCMC Representative Office for learning about financial investment in Vietnam in general and the stock market in Vietnam in particular.
– Meetings with VN30 companies, such as: VIB, HDB, Becamex, Vinamilk and a Start-up company – Finhay, in which our participants had the chance to understand about the companies’ business and explore the investment & collaboration opportunities with those.
– A cultural tour, where the participants enjoyed the local cuisine, scenery, and history of Ho Chi Minh City.
– An insight sharing activity where the participants shared to others what they had learned and gained from the program.
The program was a great success, as it received positive feedback from the stakeholders. The participants expressed their appreciation for our hospitality and professionalism, and said they gained valuable knowledge and insights from the program. They also expressed their interest in exploring further collaboration opportunities with us in the future.
